TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the IndianEvents.sg website, mobile site and any related applications or services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated and owned by TESG Pte. Ltd. (“TESG”, “Tamil Event SG”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 The Platform allows users (“you”, “User”) to discover events and purchase, obtain or register tickets or entries (“Tickets”) to events organised by independent third parties (“Organisers”).

1.3 By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, purchasing or using any Ticket, or clicking “I agree” or similar, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply to specific events or promotions.

1.4 If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

 

2. Capacity and Eligibility

2.1 To use the Platform and purchase Tickets, you must:

1. Be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts; or
2. If you are under 18, obtain the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who will be deemed to have accepted these Terms on your behalf.

2.2 By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

 

3. Role of Tamil Event SG

3.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, TESG acts as a ticketing and payment platform provider and/or as a ticketing agent on behalf of Organisers. We do not usually own, operate, manage or control the events, venues or services for which Tickets are sold. 

3.2 The contract for attendance at the event is between you and the relevant Organiser and/or venue (“Event Provider”). TESG is not a party to this contract and is not responsible for:

1. The quality, safety, legality or suitability of any event or venue;
2. Any changes to event details (including postponement, cancellation, change of venue or line-up);
3. Any service provided by Organisers, venues or other third parties.

3.3 TESG provides ticketing, payment processing and related support services only, to facilitate the transaction between you and the Organiser.

 

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 You may browse certain parts of the Platform without registering, but some features (including purchasing Tickets) may require you to create an account and provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.

4.2 You are responsible for:

1. Keeping your login credentials safe and confidential;
2. All activities carried out under your account;
3. Notifying us promptly at (admin@tamileventsg.com) upon any actual or suspected unauthorised access to your account.

4.3 TESG may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that:

1. You have breached these Terms or any applicable law;
2. You have provided inaccurate or misleading information; or
3. Your account is being used in a way that may cause harm, risk or liability to TESG, Organisers or other Users.

 

5. Ticket Purchase, Pricing and Fees

5.1 All prices for Tickets, booking fees, payment gateway charges and other fees are displayed on the Platform or event page. Prices may be subject to taxes, booking fees and other charges as indicated at checkout.

5.2 By placing an order, you:

1. Confirm that all details provided by you are true and complete;
2. Authorise TESG or our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for the full amount, including all applicable fees and charges; and
3. Acknowledge that orders may be subject to verification, fraud checks and approvals by us or third-party payment providers.

5.3 TESG and Organisers reserve the right to:

1. Change prices, fees and charges at any time before you confirm your purchase;
2. Correct any pricing errors or omissions;
3. Refuse or cancel any order where there is an error in the price or description of Tickets, in which case any amount already paid may be refunded, subject to applicable policies.

 

6. Order Confirmation and Ticket Delivery

6.1 Your order is confirmed when:

1. Full payment has been received; and
2. A confirmation email, e-ticket, QR code or booking reference has been issued to you by the Platform.

6.2 You are responsible for:

1. Providing a valid and accessible email address;
2. Ensuring that your email settings and spam filters allow you to receive our communications;
3. Safely storing your Tickets, booking references or QR codes.

6.3 TESG is not responsible for any loss suffered due to your failure to receive confirmation emails or Tickets because of incorrect contact details or technical issues on your side.

 

7. Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations

7.1 Unless expressly stated on the event page or required by law, all Ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This includes booking fees, payment gateway charges and other service fees.

7.2 In the event of cancellation, postponement or significant change of an event, the Organiser’s refund or exchange policy will apply. TESG will:

1. Follow the instructions of the Organiser in administrating any refunds or exchanges (if any); and
2. Use commercially reasonable efforts to assist with communication between you and the Organiser, but is not obliged to override the Organiser’s policy. 

7.3 No refunds will be given for:

1. Late arrival or non-attendance by you;
2. Changes in your personal circumstances;
3. Inability to attend due to travel issues, health issues or other personal factors, unless required by law or expressly provided in the event’s terms.

7.4 If a refund is approved, it may be limited to the Ticket face value. Booking, payment and administrative fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly stated.

 

8. Event Admission and Venue Rules

8.1 Admission to any event is subject to the terms, conditions and rules imposed by the Organiser and/or venue, including but not limited to:

1. Security checks;
2. Bag and contraband restrictions;
3. Dress code;
4. Late-comer policies;
5. Age restrictions or rating classifications.

8.2 Organisers and venues may refuse admission or remove any person from the event for safety, legal, or operational reasons, including where a person:

1. Is intoxicated or behaving in a disorderly or unsafe manner;
2. Fails to comply with venue rules or instructions;
3. Uses an invalid, altered, duplicated or unauthorised Ticket.

8.3 TESG is not responsible for any decision by the Organiser or venue regarding admission, removal or enforcement of venue rules.

 

9. Ticket Use and Prohibited Activities

9.1 Tickets are issued solely for personal use to attend the specified event. You agree not to:

1. Resell, transfer or offer to resell or transfer any Ticket for commercial gain without the Organiser’s prior written consent;
2. Duplicate, copy or otherwise attempt to tamper with or circumvent Ticket security features;
3. Use any automated tools, bots or scripts to obtain Tickets;
4. Use Tickets for illegal or unauthorised purposes, including promotional or commercial use without authorisation.

9.2 TESG and Organisers may cancel any Ticket, deny entry or take other appropriate action (including reporting to authorities) where we reasonably suspect fraud, scalping, misuse or violation of these Terms.

 

10. Platform Use and Prohibited Conduct

10.1 You agree not to use the Platform in any way that:

1. Is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful;
2. Harasses, defames or infringes the rights (including intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or publicity rights) of any person;
3. Introduces viruses, malware, harmful code or attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems;
4. Interferes with, disrupts or overloads the Platform or any related networks;
5. Circumvents security, authentication or payment processes.

10.2 TESG may monitor use of the Platform for security and operational reasons and may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is a risk of harm or breach of these Terms.

 

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, software and underlying source code, is owned by or licensed to TESG and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11.2 You may use the Platform and its content only for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with browsing events and purchasing Tickets. You must not:

1. Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, publish, transmit or create derivative works from any part of the Platform;
2. Use any trademarks, trade names or logos displayed on the Platform without prior written consent.

11.3 Content provided by Organisers (such as event descriptions, posters and videos) remains the property of the Organisers or their licensors. TESG is not responsible for ensuring the accuracy or legality of such content.

 

12. Third-Party Services and Links

12.1 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services or resources (including payment providers and Organiser websites). These are provided for convenience only.

12.2 TESG does not endorse, control or assume responsibility for third-party sites or services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

 

13. Disclaimers

13.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and all Tickets, content and services made available through it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability. 

13.2 Without limiting the above, TESG does not warrant that:

1. The Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
2. Any defects or errors will be corrected;
3. Event information, schedules or content on the Platform will be accurate, complete or up-to-date;
4. The Platform or any server is free of viruses or other harmful components.

13.3 You are responsible for implementing appropriate virus protection and security safeguards on your own devices.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, TESG (and our directors, employees, agents and affiliates) shall not be liable for any:

1. Indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages;
2. Loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data;
3. Losses arising from acts or omissions of Organisers, venues, performers or other third parties;
4. Losses arising from interruptions, delays or unavailability of the Platform, or failures in telecommunication or payment systems.

14.2 Where TESG is found liable to you in connection with any Ticket or service, our aggregate liability shall be limited to the total Ticket price and fees actually paid to TESG for that specific transaction, excluding any amounts payable to the Organiser or third parties, and subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law. 

14.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

 

15. Force Majeure

15.1 TESG shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, riots, civil unrest, strikes, governmental actions, failures of telecommunications or utilities, or failures of third-party service providers (“Force Majeure Events”). 

 

16. Indemnity

16.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TESG, its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

1. Your use of the Platform or Tickets;
2. Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
3. Any infringement of the rights of a third party by you.

 

17. Data Protection and Privacy

17.1 Your use of the Platform and any personal data provided to us are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

17.2 By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described there, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and other applicable laws. 

 

18. Changes to These Terms

18.1 TESG may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date.

18.2 Where required by law, we will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

19.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

19.2 You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform.

 

20. General

20.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the least extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20.2 No failure or delay by TESG in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall be construed as a waiver of such right or remedy.

20.3 You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. TESG may assign or transfer these Terms or any of our rights or obligations at any time, subject to applicable law.
